Makita DUC353Z 36V LXT Electric Chainsaw – Without Battery

The Makita DUC353Z LXT Electric Chainsaw is a professional cordless chainsaw designed for heavy-duty applications, combining high power, energy efficiency, and cutting precision. Powered by a 36V system consisting of two 18V batteries from the Makita LXT platform connected in series, it delivers performance comparable to mid-range gas-powered chainsaws, while maintaining the advantages of cordless technology in terms of reduced emissions, low noise levels, and reduced maintenance requirements.

Equipped with a high-efficiency brushless motor, designed to deliver a chain speed of up to 20 m/s, ensuring rapid and consistent cutting progress even on hardwoods. The absence of brushes reduces energy loss and limits overheating, increasing operating autonomy and the overall lifespan of the motor system. Electronic control optimizes energy consumption based on the load, maintaining stable performance throughout the entire work cycle.

The design incorporates XPT (eXtreme Protection Technology), which improves resistance to external factors such as dust and moisture, making the machine suitable for use in harsh environments and variable weather conditions. The automatic chain lubrication system ensures continuous and uniform oil distribution, reducing friction and wear on the guide bar and chain and helping to maintain consistent cut quality.

From a functional standpoint, the DUC353Z is equipped with a tool-less system for adjusting and replacing the chain and guide bar, allowing for quick maintenance without the use of tools and improving operational efficiency on the job site. The electronic battery protection system automatically cuts off power in the event of insufficient charge or overloading, preventing damage and ensuring safety during use.
