Gardena Easy Irrigation Control Unit for Faucet – 1896-20

The Gardena Easy 1896-20 Irrigation Controller is the ideal solution for automating garden irrigation in a simple, precise, and efficient way. Designed to ensure maximum convenience and reliability year-round, this irrigation controller lets you easily manage watering times and frequencies directly from the faucet, improving plant health and optimizing water consumption.

Thanks to the practical, intuitive rotary knob, controlling the system is straightforward: with a single control, you can select the duration and frequency of watering by choosing from 15 preset programs designed for the most common needs of gardens, vegetable gardens, and drip irrigation systems. The programming has been developed to offer maximum ease of use, even for those who want automatic control without technical complications.

Made from sturdy, weather-resistant materials, the Gardena Easy 1896-20 control unit ensures reliable performance even under high pressure and in harsh weather conditions. The corrosion-resistant valve helps maintain high efficiency over time, making it perfect for continuous use in every season.

The compact design and 30% reduction in depth compared to the previous model allow for a discreet and space-saving installation directly on the faucet. Powering the unit with two standard AA batteries (not included) also ensures convenience and autonomy without the need for electrical connections.

The built-in manual watering function offers additional flexibility, allowing you to turn on the water immediately when needed—for example, for supplemental watering or to fill buckets and watering cans—without having to remove the controller.
The automatic shut-off after 15 minutes prevents unnecessary water waste.

The controller allows you to set watering cycles every 8, 12, 24, or 48 hours, with a duration adjustable from 1 minute up to 2 hours. It is also possible to delay the start time by up to 23 hours, offering precise and customized irrigation control based on the specific needs of the plants and weather conditions.

Perfect for home gardens, vegetable patches, patios, and yards, it is a reliable choice for those who want to automate their irrigation with a professional, practical, and durable product.
