DeWALT DCE555N-XJ 18V XR Brushless Drywall Trimmer, 26,000 rpm – Without Battery

The DeWALT DCE555N-XJ is a professional 18V XR Brushless drywall trimmer, designed to make quick and precise cuts, shaping, and trimming directly on drywall panels. Thanks to its compact body, high rotational speed, and battery power, it is a particularly effective solution for drywall installers, contractors, electricians, and construction professionals who need to create openings and perform other tasks directly on-site.

The powerful brushless motor reaches 26,000 rpm, providing the speed needed to make quick, controlled cuts in drywall. The absence of traditional brushes helps improve the power tool’s efficiency and reduce maintenance requirements—a particularly important feature for a tool intended for frequent use in dusty environments.

The DeWALT DCE555 is ideal for cutting openings for electrical boxes, outlets, switches, spotlights, light fixtures, piping, and cable passages, allowing you to easily follow the outline of the component to be recessed into the panel. Compared to traditional manual cutting methods, it significantly speeds up operations, especially during the professional installation of large quantities of panels.

Particular attention has been paid to ease of use. The tool-free bit-change system allows for quick replacement of the accessory, reducing downtime and facilitating the transition between different tasks. The switch is also equipped with dust protection, designed to increase the power tool’s reliability and service life under conditions typical of drywall work.

The compact design and ergonomic grip facilitate control of the tool during precision work and allow for smooth movement along the cutting line. The absence of a power cord also offers greater freedom of movement when working on walls, drop ceilings, stairs, or scaffolding.
