The Makita B-33831 Specialized T.C.T. blade, with a diameter of 165 mm and 52 teeth, is designed for clean cuts in laminate and wood using circular saws. Compatible with Makita DHS630, DHS660, DHS661, DHS680, HS012, HS6601, HS6601, SP6000, and DSP6000.

Specialized blades for cutting laminate feature alternating trapezoidal and flat teeth. The trapezoidal tooth performs a precise pre-cut, while the flat tooth finishes the cut by removing material even in the most difficult corners; this allows for cutting through the top layer of laminate—usually melamine—which is hard and prone to chipping. The blade’s special coating prevents overheating and facilitates smooth cutting through materials rich in adhesives, such as MDF; the blades are also equipped with laser slots to reduce noise and vibration.
