Makita HR009GM202 40V XGT 3.9J 30mm SDS-Plus Hammer Drill + Dust Extraction System – with Battery

The Makita 40Vmax XGT HR009GM202 Hammer Drill is a top-of-the-line professional solution for those seeking power, reliability, and safety when drilling and chiseling into concrete, masonry, and hard materials. Designed for professional use, this hammer drill—featuring a quick-release chuck and SDS-Plus compatibility—utilizes the Makita XGT 40Vmax platform and a latest-generation brushless motor, capable of delivering up to 3.9 J of impact energy, ensuring high performance with optimized energy consumption and a long service life without the need for maintenance.
Thanks to its three operating modes—rotation, hammer, and hammer-rotation—the Makita HR009GM202 easily adapts to a wide range of job site applications, offering maximum versatility and precision even under load, thanks to electronic speed control that maintains consistent performance. The ergonomic soft-grip handle enhances operating comfort, reducing fatigue even during prolonged use.
Operator safety is at the heart of the design: the hammer drill is equipped with Makita’s most advanced systems, such as AVT (Anti-Vibration Technology), which drastically reduces vibrations; AFT, which automatically shuts off the motor in the event of a sudden jam; XPT (Extreme Protection Technology) for greater resistance to dust and water in harsh environments, and AWS, the wireless system with automatic start-up that allows connection to compatible dust extractors via Bluetooth. To top it all off, the integrated DX11 dust extraction system helps keep the work area cleaner, protecting the operator’s health and the surrounding environment.

The Makita HR009GM202 includes 2 x 40V BL4040 4.0 Ah batteries, a DC40RA rapid charger, the 191F95-1 DX11 dust extraction system, a 191F46-4 quick-release self-tightening chuck, an SDS-Plus chuck, a depth rod, drill bit grease, a cleaning cloth, and a carrying case.
