Makita UR201CZ 36V Brushless Brush Cutter (without batteries) for Backpack Use

The Makita UR201CZ 36V brush cutter is equipped with a high-performance brushless motor that requires minimal maintenance due to the absence of carbon brushes.
This lithium-ion-powered brush cutter can only be used in combination with the convenient PDC01 battery backpack, available as an optional accessory, which holds four 18V lithium-ion batteries with varying Ah capacities, thus ensuring extended runtime suitable for intensive and professional use.
The Makita UR201CZ brush cutter is designed to be the go-to tool for professionals seeking battery-powered equipment that delivers high performance—comparable to its gasoline-powered counterparts—and extended runtime.
This model is equipped with state-of-the-art electronic control systems that protect the operator and optimize performance.
The high-performance brushless motor features 3 electronic speed settings, a soft start, and an ATF system that cuts power to the motor if the blades strike a fixed obstacle (e.g., a fence post).
The motor, powered by 18V lithium-ion batteries that deliver consistent performance, provides 1.0 kW of power for professional use.
This model also features a reverse function, allowing the rotation to be reversed to facilitate grass removal.
The Makita UR201CZ features a battery status indicator LED and safety electronics that first emit an audible signal and then shut off the motor in the event of a low or overcharged battery.
XPT (Extreme Protection Technology) ensures the highest resistance to dust and water splashes on the market.
The Makita Go Green initiative aims to bring products to market that have a low environmental impact—thanks to zero CO₂ emissions—and that guarantee low noise levels without compromising performance, allowing work to be carried out even in environments where noise must be minimized as much as possible—such as resort areas, apartment buildings, hospitals, and nursing homes—while maintaining performance levels comparable to those of gasoline-powered tools.
